Move In

Welcome to Fall 2024 move in and your on-campus living and learning experience. Students will receive additional information regarding move in specifics around the beginning of August.

New students will likely find these tips most helpful, but the information is applicable to our returning students as well.

  • Communication is key. Begin connecting with your roommate(s) to prepare for move in and living in community. Discuss who is bringing/purchasing/renting certain items to share, how you can best communicate with each other, and be prepared to complete a roommate agreement shortly after move in.
  • Pack your items utilizing LABELED suitcases (with wheels if possible), large bags, sealed boxes or tote bins, and bring your own hand cart if necessary. The goal is to complete the move to your room in one trip from vehicle to room.
  • NO trailers, box trucks, oversized vehicles will be allowed on campus.
  • Review the Guide to Sustainable Living for action items for a sustainable move-in (pg 6).
